The company behind JobLogic
JobLogic says the product began as an internal Carter Group tool and was commercialised through Tracer Management Systems in 1998. It moved to software-as-a-service in 2012, then was acquired by its current leadership and rebuilt on Microsoft Azure in 2013 alongside a mobile app and customer portal. The company is registered and based in Birmingham, with teams in the UK, Pakistan and Vietnam. JobLogic says Vista Equity Partners has provided more than £100 million in new primary capital for its AI roadmap and European expansion. Since 2023 it has also added Protean, Clik, Arantico and Invida to the business. It builds for contractors, service providers and facilities teams managing reactive work, planned maintenance, assets, compliance and multi-site operations. This is a different centre of gravity from LandscapeBase Auto Costing, which begins with a garden drawing and specification.
Pricing and contract
JobLogic Standard starts from £45 per user/month, billed annually; Premium and Enterprise are custom-priced. JobLogic says 24 and 36-month commitments are typical, with 12 months available on request. Confirm its renewal and data-export terms in writing. Price the required tier, users, onboarding and Marketplace apps, then compare it with LandscapeBase’s monthly whole-team model.
Who should choose it?
JobLogic is the stronger choice when planned maintenance, compliance certificates, SLAs and reactive callouts define the work. Garden builders should test an approved variation and projected margin before accepting a long term. Compare our scheduling guide and margin guide, then use the hub or overall comparison. Repeat the test in a LandscapeBase demo.
What to test before signing
- Request the exact tier, users, onboarding, Marketplace apps and three-year committed cost.
- Move a reactive callout through a planned grounds schedule without losing a visit.
- Export one customer with sites, jobs, forms, photos and asset history.
- Compare the same crew change with LandscapeBase Smart Scheduling before committing.
